Revenue Manager - Hotel (7-10 yrs)

Job description :

Job Responsibilities :

Revenue Management Strategy :

- Lead strategic planning and collaborate with all profit generation team to actively seek opportunities to drive incremental profit for retails units and add on services.

- Develop and implement revenue management strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.

- Monitor and analyze market trends, demand patterns, and competitor pricing to adjust strategies accordingly.

- Optimize pricing, inventory, and distribution channels to achieve revenue targets.

Channel Management :

- Manage relationships with OTAs and other distribution partners to ensure optimal property visibility and performance.

- Utilize channel management software to effectively distribute inventory and adjust rates across multiple platforms.

- Monitor and adjust allocations, availability, and restrictions in line with demand

Data Analysis and Reporting :

- Analyze booking patterns, market trends, and financial data to identify opportunities for revenue growth.

- Prepare and present regular reports on revenue performance, and market analysis to senior management.

- Creates short and long term forecast, that yield the best decisions on pricing and yielding tactics

- Participates in the annual budget process and produces long term projection, as required.

- Utilize data-driven insights to recommend pricing strategies and promotional activities.

Reservations Management :

- Oversee the operations of the reservations department to ensure efficient and effective handling of bookings.

- Train and support the reservations team to enhance their skills and performance.

- Implement processes and systems to improve reservation accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Collaboration and Communication :

- Effectively communicates a compelling total profit optimization vision to all relevant leaders, fosters Revenue Management culture within revenue generating departments of the hotel and teaches RM concepts to relevant team members with the organization.

- Collaborate with the Marketing team to execute, measure, evaluate and improve digital marketing efforts to support the strategic marketing plans working within the established budgets.

- Provide training and guidance to team members on revenue management best practices and tools.

- Collaborate with property owners to understand their revenue goals and provide recommendations to achieve them.

Market Expertise :

- Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in the short-term rental market, particularly in Dubai and Riyadh.

- Leverage industry knowledge to inform revenue management strategies and identify new opportunities.

Qualifications :

- 7-10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with minimum 5 years of revenue management experience.

- A strong background in reservations is desired as this position will manage reservation Department .

- Extensive knowledge of channel managers and OTAs.

- Proven track record of success in revenue management, preferably in Dubai or Riyadh.

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data and trends.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in revenue management software and tools.

- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

- Dynamic can do attitude

- Ability to complete task within given deadlines

- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
