Profile: Retail Merchandiser

Exp: 1-2 yrs (freshers are considered as well)

Location: Gurgaon

Salary: 3.6 LPA to 6 LPA

Key Responsibilities:

Merchandising & Display:

- Create and maintain visually appealing product displays to promote sales.

- Ensure that shelves are stocked, properly labeled, and regularly replenished.

- Follow company guidelines for product presentation and seasonal promotions.

Inventory Management:

- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to store managers or purchasing teams.

- Conduct regular stock counts and ensure timely replenishment to avoid stock outs.

Sales & Performance Analysis:

- Analyze sales data and market trends to optimize product placement and assortment.

- Recommend changes to improve product sales and overall store performance.

Collaboration & Communication:

- Work closely with store managers and suppliers to coordinate merchandising efforts.

- Train and guide store staff on effective merchandising practices.

Market Research & Trends:

- Stay updated on industry trends and customer preferences to enhance merchandising strategies.

- Provide feedback to product development teams based on customer insights.

Compliance & Reporting:

- Ensure that merchandising activities comply with company policies and branding standards.

- Prepare and present regular reports on merchandising performance and sales trends.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Retail Management, or a related field (preferred).

- 2+ years of experience in retail merchandising or a related role.

- Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles and retail operations.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.

- Proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Office.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
