RentoMojo - Copywriter (2-4 yrs)
We are looking for a motivated, better than smart, word-wizard to join our team. As a copywriter, you will be responsible for all consumer-facing communication from RentoMojo. You will also be required to come up with out-of-the-box ideas for social platforms. Working closely with the designers and the rest of the marketing team, you should have an understanding of various consumer segments, consumer journeys, and common digital marketing platforms.
On a day to day basis, you will be working on :
- Writing both long form and short form content and copy
- Ensuring that all deliverables are free of typos, grammatical errors and structural errors
- Creating a repository of content ideas across varied topics, with focus on lifestyle, furniture, and renting
- Overseeing the entire social media content both delivery and engagement
- Driving the creation of original concepts that result in effective and compelling communication
- Understanding different language styles that appeal to various target audiences
- Content for web ads and e-mailer including subject lines and caption copies
- Basic keyword research & figuring out the best keywords for any topic
- Blog articles for RentoMojo blog as per the content plan
Apply if you have:
- At least 2 years of experience in B2C content writing (agency/startup)
- An avid interest in pop culture and web culture with an innovative content creation approach
- Hands-on experience in content creation across online and offline media
- Proven expertise in writing both long and short form content
- Basic knowledge of SEO copywriting
- High commitment levels to be a part of a fast-paced industry-defining startup
- Higher education in the English language is an added advantage (Masters or equivalent in journalism, communication, or mass media)
- Experience with campaign ideation and end-to-end copywriting
