Religiate - Management Trainee - Account Executive (0-2 yrs)
As an account executive, you'll act as an important link between the agency and the client. In this job, you'll have to understand the client's goals, and then organize the agency's creative and administrative team to help them produce effective campaigns.
Your core responsibility is to manage - efficiently, systematically and smoothly - the flow of work between the Agency and the Client.
Other responsibilities include but not limited to
- Understanding your Client corporate mission, structure and ownership.
- know all products that your client makes or sells.
- understand the category.
- get to know who is your client- s/brand's competition.
- Understanding your consumer.
- Get to know who is the target audience for your brand(s)their attitudes, behavior, motivations etc.
- Meeting and liaising with clients to discuss and identify their advertising requirements.
- Working with agency colleagues to devise an advertising campaign that meets the client's brief and budget.
- Brief and follow up with Creative, Media, Account Planning, Studio and Production.
- All briefs and requests should be in writing.
- Follow up regularly but don- t be a nuisance or a nag.
- Ensure all jobs meet Client expectations in terms of quality and time.
- Check all the work meticulously for errors, spelling mistakes etc.
- Make sure all the works are approved by the respective seniors in the agency.
- Ensure retainer invoices are raised in time.
- In case of projects outside of retainer fees, ensure estimates are raised and approved before commencement of work.
- Ensure monies are collected in time.
- Maintain a record of all invoices raised and monies received for total control.
- Update Clients with regular reports on market activity
- make regular visits to the market and report any new happenings - competitor's visibility, promotions, new packaging, new launches etc.
- competitive ads and ad spends
- ensure all new ads of competition is sent within 48 hours.
- weekly job status reports
- helps Client to know what is pending with them.
- Take charge of organizing Client meetings, agendas, copies of work & presentations, equipment etc.
- Write Contact Reports for all meetings
