As a PreSales Solution Consultant, you are deeply involved into the Sales Cycle to help generate Revenues in these new areas. You must have at a same time a Business functional mindset and strong Technical skills that give you the capability to elaborate the value proposition of our solution to our Customers, Prospects and Partners. This includes to design the best solution that fits the customer requirement and business context, to run Proof of Concepts, to validate the solution architecture, and to quantify the benefits of our solution.

The required profile should then be able to understand and design a complex Business Analytics solution architecture (particularly in Big Data). On the other hand the main role will be of course to sustain the value of the overall solution externally to our partners and of course to our customers and prospects, standing and delivering in front not only of technical and IT people but also in front of Executive and Business roles.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Work with customers to understand their business issues and formulate value propositions.

- Define solution architecture and elaborate on business benefits and return of investment.

- Be creative in pushing the value

- Provide product expertise support to sales force on major sales cycles.

- Contribute to formal bids and Invitations to Tender.

- Deliver presentations demonstrations workshops. Build, manage and coordinate proofs-of- concept (POCs) on real customer environment.

- Work as part of sales team to formulate account strategies and help identify opportunities.

- Work with Partners to transfer knowledge and build joint value propositions.

- Develop competitive knowledge and leverage in sales cycle.

- Keep up with industry trends and best practices.

- Responsible for high quality responses to RFP/RFI/capability presentations

- Pro-actively liaise with onshore stakeholders to receive timely feedback that can be leveraged to enhance the proposal/presentation development process

- Create and update standard decks, by service offering, that highlight the best sections/slides that can be leveraged in future presentations, RFP/RFI responses

- Extra responsibilities for Solution Sales

- SPOC for India - Sales CRM

- Oversee the sourcing, collating and analyzing of information to produce high quality deliverables

- Deal solution support (New logo acquisition & TCV closure)

- Presentation support for Bid Management & Solution function

- Support Bid Managers for proposal submission and technical presentation

- Analyzing new RFP/RFI- s

- Responsible for Bid submission documents and RFP/RFI responses.

- Creation of marketing/sales documents.

- Publishing quarterly operational metrics for emerging accounts.

- Build references architectures, how-tos, and demo applications for customers

- Provide escalated level of support for critical customer operational issues

Key skills:

Significant and current experience of two or more of the following disciplines:

- Data Integration (ETL); experienced in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence

- Big Data technologies: Hadoop Distributions, Spark, MapReduce, Hive, PIG, NoSQL

Databases (Cassandra, MongoDb, etc...)

- Cloud Solutions: AWS Stack (S3, Redshift, EMR), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud

- Demonstrate the ability to manage a high number of concurrent, active prospects

- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

- Team Player, helping and receiving help to/from Pre-Sales peers

- ETL tool (Talend, Informatica, Pentaho, etc- ) and Java experience a plus.
