Relationship Manager - Sales - Treasury (6-11 yrs)
Job Description
1. Capable of handling a team of 8-10 treasury sales managers.
2. Handling existing customer relationships. He should be able to engage senior Management/ promoters in a corporate sector
a. Understanding their trade and Foreign currency requirements.
b. Pitching them to have risk management policy/framework to hedge their Foreign currency exposure.
c. Providing hedging solutions by pitching Forwards and Derivatives - product upgrades
3. Focus on New client acquisitions
a. Driving team for meeting new customers from an acquisition perspective.
b. Work closely with relationship teams and branches for activating high-value trade accounts.
c. Focus on sectors/segments to improve market share, penetration.
4. Driving team / Work closely with cross functional teams
5. Enhance productivity of the team - skill set building
6. Undertake projects and assignments necessary to identify areas of business focus
Job Description :
Summary - The incumbent is required to execute the marketing of all treasury products to corporate clients and advise them on their risk management needs; in an optimally profitable manner for the bank.
Day to Day Responsibilities :
1. Handling existing customer relationships (large corporates)
a. Understanding their trade and Foreign currency requirements
b. Advising on hedging solutions and trade finance - stay abreast of market developments and communicate in an effective manner
c. Originate leads for debt market products - liaise to cross-sell products
2. Focus on New client acquisitions - Leverage the banks' image as a reliable banker, and build effective relationships to achieve targets/objectives.
3. Focus on sectors/segments to improve market share, penetration
4. Work closely with cross-functional teams - Build and leverage effective relationships with internal stakeholders
5. Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations as and when required - also ensure high standards of confidentiality and ethics at all times
Key Skills required :
- Communication and Presentation skills
- Maintaining relevant MIS and basic Excel finesse
- Be a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, with persistence and aggression towards growing business for the bank
- Identify areas of self-development and enhance learning periodically
