Relationship Manager - Sales - Insurance (2-5 yrs)
The Direct Channel Life Insurance Sales Executive is responsible for selling life insurance policies directly to customers through various channels such as phone, email, online, and in-person. The executive will be required to generate leads, follow-up with prospects, and close sales.
Key Responsibilities :
- Generate leads through various sources such as cold calling, referrals, and online portals.
- Follow-up with leads to understand their insurance needs and provide them with suitable policy options.
- Explain policy features, benefits, and terms to customers and address their queries and concerns.
- Close sales and ensure policy documentation and payment is completed as per company guidelines.
- Meet or exceed sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product updates, and competition.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in sales, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Knowledge of insurance products and regulatory requirements.
- Good understanding of customer needs and ability to provide solutions.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and target-driven.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
