Relationship Manager - Sales - Insurance (1-7 yrs)
When it comes to fostering long-lasting connections with customers and promoting insurance goods and services, relationship executives at life insurance play a critical role.
The specific responsibilities and duties may include:
- Actively engage in prospecting and lead generation activities to identify potential customers interested in insurance products.
- Utilize various channels such as referrals, cold calling, networking, and digital platforms to generate new business leads.
- Conduct sales presentations and consultations to educate customers about Life Insurance products, explain the features and benefits, and address any queries or concerns.
- Customize insurance solutions based on individual customer needs and recommend suitable policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Provide ongoing support and assistance to policyholders, including policy servicing, claims processing, and renewal reminders.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) set by the company.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to achieve and exceed sales goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential opportunities for product development, sales growth, and customer retention.
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines while conducting sales activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and policy-related documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters, customer service, and claims departments, to ensure smooth and efficient processing of policies and provide seamless customer service.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in field is preferred.
- Proven sales experience in the insurance industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities to close sales and achieve targets.
- Knowledge of life insurance products, industry regulations, and market trends.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- High ethical standards and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
