Relationship Manager - Sales - Commercial Vehicle loan & Construction Equipment loan (10-15 yrs)
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and target potential clients in the commercial vehicles and construction equipment segments.
- Develop and implement strategies to acquire new business and grow the asset book.
- Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to create customized solutions for clients.
Client Relationship Management:
- Manage and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular client meetings to understand their business needs, and provide appropriate financial products and services.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their queries, and resolving issues promptly.
Credit Assessment and Risk Management:
- Conduct detailed credit assessments of potential clients, analyzing their financial statements, market position, and creditworthiness.
- Prepare and present credit proposals to the credit committee, ensuring all risks are identified and mitigated.
- Monitor the credit performance of the portfolio and take proactive measures to manage risks.
Product Knowledge and Expertise:
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of banking products and services related to commercial vehicles and construction equipment financing.
- Keep up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the sector.
- Provide training and support to junior team members on product knowledge and client management techniques.
Cross-Selling and Revenue Generation:
Identify opportunities for cross-selling other banking products, such as working capital loans, insurance, and treasury services.
Work closely with other departments to enhance revenue generation and ensure a holistic approach to client service.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all transactions and client interactions comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Manage the documentation process for all transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CA, CFA) is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in relationship management or sales within the banking sector, specifically in commercial vehicle and construction equipment financing.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
