Relationship Manager - Emerging Corporate (4-7 yrs)

Emerging Corporate (EC) is a part of consumer banking which acquires and manages firm/companies in the SME segment. EC drives current account acquisition, domestic and cross-border trade, Remittances, Payment & Collection, Working Capital & term facilities across branches. EC has two channels and two product verticals. Channels include PCAT, which primarily acquires new to bank customers and ECRM (Emerging Corporate Relationship Managers), which manages existing SME portfolios. Current Account and Trade/FX are two product verticals.
ECRM is a 250+ team of relationship managers managing approx. 25,000 SMEs across 1000+ branches . Each ECRM manages approx. 150 - 200 customers and drives trade & FX business by cross-selling remittance & trade products to existing customers, acquires new to bank customers which are predominantly exporters & importers and engage with customers to get larger wallet share.
Overall Job Description
ECRMs roles and responsibility includes;
1. Regular meeting with the existing customer to ensure engagement and wallet share.
2. Resolve any service related Issue by coordinating with Internal & external stakeholders.
3. Understand customer requirement and cross-sell products which meet those requirements.
4. Scope opportunity in the portfolio to refer leads to business banking, LAP / HL, LAS etc.
5. Acquire quality importer/exporter with regular Trade / FX transaction.
6. Achieve annual fee budget.
7. Ensure there are no regulatory or compliance-related issues in the portfolio.
8. Regular update of call reports.
Also, the job role includes :
Acquiring & Managing Current Account Portfolios of the Branch for incremental deepening value, sourcing high-end business accounts & generating Trade & Forex based fee income.
Managing customer relationships & addressing both service & sales queries for customers with an objective to engage & retain customers.Sourcing Trade, Forex customers & thereby generating fee-based income.Meeting existing customers to generate business opportunities thereby generating revenue for the Bank.
Handling Trade based queries from the Branch & increase forex revenue by smoothening transactions process by proactive liaison with Forex service cell, SPOPS & Credit departments.
Accompanying & mentoring EC-PCAT during sales calls.
Identifying new segments & set up new trade verticals for prospective business opportunities at different locations/regions new to the bank.
Recommend & introduce new services e.g. Cash management
