Relationship Manager - Emerging Corporate (3-9 yrs)
Primary role is to acquire new secured asset relationships (SME) in the region allotted (Mumbai Only) whose turnover is up to Rs 500 crs with an average ticket size of Rs 10 crs.
The candidate must a have a minimum 3 years of acquisition experience in the field and should have completed a minimum of 2 appraisal cycles in an organization.
Principal Accountabilities for the mentioned role are as follows,
Accountability Supporting Actions
Drive the new client acquisition process at the ground level - Develop strong long-term relationships with small businesses with a view of achieving growth targets in line with the business plan
- Deliver growth in overall business through the development of all key distribution channels - direct, indirect and reference
- Carry out negotiations of lending terms and conditions with small business representatives
- Carry out an initial assessment of risk and negotiate terms to an acceptable level
- Collate all necessary documentation to complete the lending process and transfer the file to the risk management team
- Participate in negotiations between the risk management team and the customer, if any
- Communicate the final terms of lending and process sanction letters, security formalities and other documentation
Maintain consistently high service standards and customer satisfaction levels through periodic engagement - Engage with existing customers post-disbursal on a periodic basis, identifying and resolving any issues raised
- Collect customer feedback and communicate this to senior management to assist in the creation of innovative new solutions
- Oversee the renewal of accounts on a periodic basis, assessing customer needs and tailoring solutions in each case
Handle risk management and statutory activities at the ground level so as to ensure compliance with all internal and regulatory norms - Ensure compliance with norms regarding documentation, KYC and other relevant information about the client and application of necessary mitigants where applicable
- Oversee the collections process, monitoring and taking action against overdue accounts
- Manage the exiting process for customer accounts where necessary, both for straightforward exits as well as recovery of bad debts
- Perform pre- and post-sanction activities such as coordinating with the credit risk team for documentation and loan sanctions, disbursement coordination, etc
- Provide inputs to MIS reports to help the risk team define credit lending norms and key risk parameters
- Ensure the collection of all post disbursement documents, PDCs etc.
