Job Title: Assistant Manager - Sales
Position Summary:
- The Assistant Manager - Sales will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and developing strategies to increase market share in the bike accessories segment.
- This role requires close collaboration with dealership teams, vendors, and customers to ensure high customer satisfaction and strong business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for bike accessories in assigned locations.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the dealer network.
- Drive market expansion through strategic partnerships and new account acquisitions.
Market Analysis & Competitive Benchmarking:
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
- Benchmark competition and provide actionable insights to stay ahead in the market.
Customer & Dealer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and dealers.
- Address customer needs, resolve issues promptly, and enhance client satisfaction.
Sales Performance & Target Achievement:
- Track sales performance and generate regular reports to measure success.
- Identify areas for improvement and develop corrective action plans to meet sales targets.
Promotions & Brand Visibility:
- Plan and execute BTL (Below-the-Line) marketing activities, including exhibitions, retailer meets, and dealership events.
- Organize promotional campaigns, training sessions, and local riding events to enhance brand presence.
Product Knowledge & Training:
- Stay updated on the latest bike accessories, riding gear, and market trends.
- Train dealership staff and partners on product features and benefits to drive effective sales conversations.
Skills & Competencies:
- Sales & Account Management - Strong ability to manage key accounts and drive revenue growth.
- Market Expansion & Dealer Development - Experience in business development and expanding dealership networks.
- Customer Relationship Management - Proven ability to build lasting relationships with clients and partners.
- Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills - Ability to analyze data, benchmark competition, and develop strategic solutions.
- Event Management & BTL Marketing - Experience in organizing retailer meets, exhibitions, and promotional rides.
- Target-Driven & Resourceful - Strong focus on achieving sales targets and finding innovative solutions.
Preferred Industry Experience:
- Apparel, Luggage, Helmets, Riding Gear, or Automotive Accessories industries.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the automobile or bike accessories sector.
