Regional Sales Manager/Senior Manager - Auto Ancillary/OEM - South (8-12 yrs)
The Company :
A leading auto ancillary / OEM mfg with multi location operations.
The Role :
Reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing, it is a leadership role responsible for driving revenues, profitability and market share for the South region for the organisation's offerings.
Key responsibilities includes (but not limited to)
- Business planning / budgeting / resource planning and deployment in line with organisation strategy.
- Market research and continuously identify opportunities with the customers for innovation and problem solving.
- Customer Development - acquire, engage and retain customers through strategic and tactical engagements and responsible for administering the end to end sales process.
- Customer Relationship Mgmt and drive customer value proposition attainment.
- Key account management.Team management and development
- Custodian of the sales and marketing process and outcomes.
- Be the representative of the organisation in external / internal forums, market / competitor intelligence and provide appropriate inputs to the operations teams to delivery superior products and services based on changing customer requirements.
Person for the role :
- Graduate in Mechanical / Auto engineering with a PG in Sales / Marketing with about 8 to 12 years of experience in sales and marketing role in auto ancillary / OEM space with at-least- 5 years of leadership experience for a region.
- Established sales leader with excellent track record of creating excellent customer experiences in the auto ancillary / OEM industry
- Sales professional with experience serving key four wheeler segments with understanding and familiarity with business drivers in OEM and influencers in the automobile safety systems market will be a big plus.
- Good negotiator with excellent techno-commercial acumen and ability to drive the sales process from the initial customer engagement to customer success.
- Knowledge of costing / pricing / profit management.
- Experience leading a team and responsible for the development of the team.
