Regional Sales Manager - Pharma (8-15 yrs)
Job Context :
An incumbent will be responsible for regional sales manager role and support to the Company revenue growth. He/she needs to maintain a high level of customer relationship with key customers. This position is responsible to provide sales leadership to assigned territories to establish and achieve short and long-range goals and strategies for profitable growth through efficient management and motivation of their direct reports and coordinating best practice of indirect reports. The individual is responsible for monitoring selling prices with objective of achieving profitability in line with organization expectation. An incumbent must have the effective communication and presentation skills.
Prior sales experience in excipients and film coating products is essential.
Job Location : Haridwar/Baddi/Jammu/Delhi (Willing to travel within specified geography)
Functional Accountabilities :
- Customer Centric : Understand high level customer needs, product offering for first time right solutions and meeting the customer as well as organization expectations.
- Market Intelligence : Constantly analyses market dynamics through available reports, customer websites, Financial Reports, Investor presentations and work proactively on potential opportunities or threats.
- Products : Develop through understanding of existing product portfolio and applications. Identify new product needs and services that will address market opportunities.
- Promotion : Work closely with Marketing team on product promotions, brand events, exhibitions, and trade shows to achieve team success. Suggest improvements based on VOC or market feedback.
- Pricing : Review product pricing, customer negotiation request to ensure business wins while maintaining expected margins. Work with Finance team to understand profitability metrics.
- Financial Role : Manage Sales forecast and budgeting process in effective and timely fashion Prepare Sales and Expense Budge. Monitor expenses to ensure these are within budgets.
- Market Intelligence : Constantly analyses market dynamics through available reports, customer websites, Financial Reports, Investor presentations and work proactively on potential opportunities or threats.
People and Capability Development :
- Drives key strategic objectives and value system to grow an organization,
- Motivate team to provide timely solutions to customers, identify what value we bring as a team to customer.
- Work with team to prepare for Periodic Action Plan, Sales and Operations Planning, customer complaint review meeting.
- Training, coaching and development of regional sales teams in processes, products, and their applications.
- Drives a mindset of innovation and enables regional contribution to overall innovation success.
