Regional Sales Manager - Paper/Printing/Packaging Firm (8-16 yrs)
Reports to : Group Head Sales & Marketing
Responsibilities
1. Own and deliver the assigned area/territory sales targets for the year, both in revenue and collection through a mix of
a. Recurring business from existing customers
b. New business from existing customer [add-on, cross-sell, upsell]
c. New business from new customers
2. Gain a strong understanding of the company's product portfolio
3. Meet regularly with existing customers and prospects in sales area/territory to understand their evolving business needs and position product solutions to meet surfaced needs
4. Monitor competitive environment for new product opportunities and make appropriate recommendations to the Regional Manager
5. Learn, understand and apply all systems, processes and sales/CRM tools for daily MIS reporting
6. Analysing market trends & chalking out measures for countering competition & assessing the current market scenario
7. Steering efforts towards generating & closing leads, identifying new business opportunities in target areas, increasing & maintaining sales ratio and working with team to achieve organization goals
8. Represent the company at trade exhibitions, conferences & events
Educational Qualification and Experience:
- Graduate preferably from Paper, Printing or Packaging Educational Background
- Min 4 to 5 year experience in Sales [from the paper, printing and/or packaging industry]
- Proven track record of achieving / exceeding month on month targets
- Pleasing inter-personal skills and go-getter
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
