Regional Sales Manager - Healthcare Footcare (7-12 yrs)
Position: Regional Sales Manager (Karnataka, AP & TN)
Headquarters: Bengaluru
Work days: Monday to Saturday. 10am to 6pm

Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Sales Manager to oversee and drive sales operations within Karnataka, AP & Tamil Nadu region. This role is critical in expanding our market presence, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, preferably within the healthcare or footwear industry, and a deep understanding of the regional market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Sales strategy: Design & execute sales strategies defined for each sub-category and state to ensure month-on-month achievement of sales target (value and volume).
- Product Development Collaboration: Work closely with the product development team to provide market insights and customer feedback. Participate in the development of new products and enhancements to existing products.
- New product launches: Ensure revenue from sales of new products as per AOP target.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Utilize market metrics to inform and adjust sales strategies.
- Market Metrics and Reporting: Track and report on key sales metrics to measure performance and identify areas for improvement. Prepare regular reports for senior management on regional sales activities and results.
- Product intelligence: Provide support to develop products as per region's demands
- Distributor Management: Identify, onboard, and manage regional distributors to expand market reach. Ensure distributors are well-equipped with product knowledge and sales tools. Ensure distributors have appropriate investments to cater to market needs (stock levels, credit, salesmen, etc.) Work closely with distributors to develop & execute annual plan for promotions, advertising campaigns and retailer meets.
- Build sales channels: Build collaborations in the B2B and B2C space, distribution channels, retail spaces and improve online sales channels.
- Competitor bench-marking: Benchmark market/ competitor best practices through ASMs & derive actionable recommendations from the same.
- Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and distributors. Identify and pursue opportunities to expand key account portfolios.
- Account Management: Oversee account management activities to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Develop tailored solutions to meet the specific needs of each account.
- Business Process Management: Streamline and manage sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Monitor and analyse sales metrics to measure performance and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of sales processes.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the regional sales team to achieve high performance. Provide training and support to ensure team members are well-equipped to meet sales targets.
- Sales and Marketing Alignment: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute regional marketing campaigns. Ensure sales and marketing efforts are aligned to maximize impact.
- Complaints management: Resolve product issues (such as recurring faults) at distributor level, arranging credits, replacement stock as required and providing feedback to Brand Managers for recurring issues; Ensure timely settlement of distributor issues like pending schemes/discounts/reversal of debit note, etc.
Qualifications and Skillset :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (7-12 years) in regional sales management, preferably in the healthcare footwear or related industry.
- Strong understanding of business processes, market research, and key account management.
- Demonstrated experience in product development, financial sales strategy, distributor management, and sales channels.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Ability to travel within the region as required.
