Regional Sales Manager - General Trade & Modern Trade - FMCG (9-16 yrs)
We're looking for a Regional Sales Manager who thrives on autonomy and is driven to make a meaningful impact. Take ownership, drive growth, and be part of a team that values innovation and leadership.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that aligns with company goals.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
- Plan and implement trade focused promotional activities.
- Hire, supervise, mentor and develop your sales team through robust systemic approach.
- Conduct regular training sessions to empower the sales team.
- Responsible for day-to-day management of team members, setting objectives,performance appraisal and determination of reward outcomes.
- Provide necessary support by working with team members in handling key and challenging accounts.
- Work closely with 'Marketing' and 'Product Development' team members to execute new product launches in Modern Trade, HoReCa & General trade.
- Continue to nurture and build long term relationships with channel partners and consumers.
- Ensure smooth communication between team members and customers and resolve conflicts in a timely manner
Skills:
- Experience handling an on-roll team is mandatory.
- Should have work experience in General Trade and Modern Trade.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and PPT).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Candidate Profile:
Job Location: Bangalore (KA).
Experience: 5 + years of experience in Sales within the food or FMCG industry.
Education: MBA Preferred.
