Regional Sales Manager - General Trade - FMCG (5-10 yrs)
- Build regional level promotional plans with consumers to ensure Client has the strongest promotional participation across categories & outperforms the competition across all key commercial metrics
- Delivery of specific brand distribution and Innovation targets across the consumer and distribution point of contacts
- Plan and forecast sales and market share targets for the defined region on an annual, 3 months rolling and monthly basis
- Develop and manage various schemes effectively to achieve sales and market share targets, ensure timely settlement of schemes and adherence to scheme budgets
- Ensure market coverage as per norms by TSE/HE Specialists and also work in the market as per coverage norms
- Responsible for planning any company's asset allocation such as GSBs, Chillers, etc and ensure the assets are in place as per approved plan
- Develop and maximize utilization of the sales operations budget including monitoring trade spends, travel expenses, scheme spends, etc.
- Manage the operational relationship with key contacts within the states handled
- Implement the joint customer business plan that not only ensures we deliver our key commercial metrics, but at the same time is focused around our retailers and consumers
- Develop and execute effective outlet execution along with the Trade Marketing team
- Responsible for managing key regulatory issues and establishing strong connect with local government and other stakeholders which can be leveraged in managing regulatory environment
- Drive Sales technology to capture and review on a regular basis, identify opportunities and develop sustainable competitive sales strategy for the states handled
- Develop and execute targeted sales drives alongside partner wholesale salesforce in line with ABI Growth Strategy
- Develop new markets to achieve growth and penetration targets
