Regional Sales Manager - FMCG (10-15 yrs)

About role :

- This role is you will be required to lead the sales function in the country and develop & implement the sales strategy in line with overall objectives.

Your Key Responsibilities :

- Lead Sales Function across the organization.

- Cleary Define Monthly & Quarterly Targets and Incentive Plans.

- Work with Supply Chain for accurate forecasting.

- Drive team efficiency & goal tracking with implementation of Bizom.

- Motivate, Excite & Train team to function at the highest level.

- Build a network of distributors to help further the company's sales goals.

- Work with a team on-ground to open new stores, solve retailer and distributor issues.

- Driving sales objectives and achieving commercial budget and targets.

- Developing Go to Market for General Trade.

- Building a high performing sales team by providing strong mentorship, coaching and guidance.

- Identifying and acquiring new customers, as well as up-selling to the existing customer base.

- Execution of Sales Automation Tools to improve productivity.

- Planning and Preparing incentive plans, loyalty programs for retailers.

- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.

- Building strong and collaborative relationships with other internal stakeholders.

- Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities.

- Coordinating with other teams to ensure smooth delivery of products & services.

- Analyzing market trends and competitors- activities and formulating strategies to respond to these.

Key Requirements :

- In-depth understanding of Channel and Sales development, Go to Market, trade and Shoppers marketing

- You have strong track record of success with prior experience in a similar role.

- You are a hands-on leader who is a strong coach & mentor and have a strong track record of building & leading high performing sales teams.

- You possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

- You possess good analytical skills and are an excellent problem solver.

- You have a degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or related field.

- You are a strong team player who can build good relationships at all levels of an organization.
