Regional Sales Manager - FMCG (10-14 yrs)
ROLE SUMMARY
This job needs a sound understanding of the KSA FMCG market in order to drive the appropriate route to market strategy for existing and new products. It also entails building capabilities in sales, trade marketing and distribution. It includes managing existing distributors and appointing new distributors as appropriate. The incumbent in the role will be consolidating KSA as the key revenue and profit contributor for the company while also being the main growth driver.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY
- Deliver top line and bottom-line for the Country in line with short and long term plan.
- Develop and implement Sales & Marketing strategy in line with company objectives
- Development of the Country Operational Plan and delivery of the Trade Marketing & Distribution KPIs (Optimum Coverage, Availability, Visibility, distributor and market Stock Levels etc.)
- Planning and execution of Cycle Activities in line with brand/TM&D plans on time and budget
- Management of Monthly demand planning, stock replenishment, inventory levels, Rental contracts, Joint Business Planning & Reviews
- Development / maintenance of a route to market strategy, coverage plan and expansion, increase depth and width of distribution
- Key Account Management: Manage large KA relationships at the top management levels
- Category/ Function Understanding:- Develop in-depth knowledge of the consumer preference and competitors. Grow our brands in the competitive market environment
- Team Management:- Driving, motivating, providing direction to direct team and efficiently utilizing distributor field force
- Manage the marketing calendar, promotions, launches and merchandising
- Analyse performance and identify opportunities for growth
