Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

Reports To: Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Department: Sales

Territory: East/South/West (Base location will be HQ- Pune)

Salary: Up to 10LPA

Role Purpose:

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing sales operations, and increasing market share within the assigned territory. This role requires a dynamic leader who can develop and execute sales strategies, build and manage a high-performing sales team, and foster strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Sales Strategy and Business Development

- Develop and implement a regional sales strategy aligned with overall business objectives.

- Identify and explore new market opportunities, customer segments, and industry trends to drive business expansion.

- Establish and monitor short-term and long-term sales targets for the region.

2) Revenue Growth and Sales Management

- Achieve and exceed regional sales targets and revenue goals.

- Develop and manage the regional sales pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of leads and opportunities.

- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create sales plans and promotional strategies.

- Drive pricing strategies that align with market dynamics and company profitability goals.

3) Team Leadership and Development

- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team.

- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching for professional growth.

- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and customer-centricity within the sales team.

4) Customer Relationship Management

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.

- Oversee customer interactions, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement.

- Address customer concerns and provide solutions to improve overall customer experience.

5) Financial and Operational Efficiency

- Manage the regional sales budget effectively to optimize resource allocation.

- Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to financial planning.

- Ensure efficient sales operations by leveraging CRM and data analytics tools.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

- Revenue Growth: Achieve or exceed regional sales targets and increase market share.

- Sales Performance: Improve conversion rates, shorten the sales cycle, and enhance deal sizes.

- Customer Satisfaction: Improve customer retention, reduce churn, and enhance Net Promoter Score (NPS).

- Team Performance: Develop a strong, motivated, and high-performing sales team.

- Financial Management: Maintain profitability and budget discipline in sales operations.

Competencies and Skills:

- Sales Leadership: Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.

- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscape.

- Negotiation Skills: Expertise in deal-making, contract negotiation, and closing sales.

- Customer-Centric Approach: Ability to understand customer needs and deliver solutions.

- Analytical Thinking: Data-driven decision-making skills with proficiency in CRM tools.

- Team Building: Experience in hiring, training, and leading high-performing teams.

Education and Experience:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.

- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in sales management, preferably in a B2B environment.

- Industry Experience: Experience in the display products industry or related technology sector is highly desirable.

- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
