The Job
Your responsibilities will include :
- Generating new leads in innovative ways - via cold calls, field networking, online research etc.
- Being accountable for new business development and revenue from new clients through direct sales and customer relationship management.
- Meeting assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines.
- Conducting product demos regularly and customize product offering in partnership with the technical teams.
- Ensuring a healthy lead pipeline of prospective clients (Hot/ Warm).
- Fixing appointments for products demos with clients followed by mailing them presentations.
- Managing relationship with existing clients for revenue maximization by identifying X-sell & Up-sell opportunities.
- Following up with prospective clients & should be able to close deals.
- Managing business of entire Region.
- Maintaining the database of prospects of the company.
Ideal Candidate :
- You have at least 4 years experience within a Sales role, ideally within the IT Software industry.
- Experience within Area Sales would be a strong advantage.
- You have a proven track record of meeting/exceeding your targets.
- You possess excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.
- You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
- You are a strong networker & relationship builder
- You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
- You are good at hunting & farming both.
- You have good knowledge of Sales & Business processes.
- You have demonstrated Leadership, Interpersonal, Communication and Presentation skills.
- You are able to work independently yet a good team player and quick learner.
- You have experience selling to businesses, specifically to SMEs, Corporates, BFSI, E-com etc.
- You have experience across the sales cycle, from new lead generation to closing of the sale.
- You have experience selling product that require push-sales with quick turnaround time.
- You have 3-5 years experience from Telecom Industry (SMS/ OBD selling experience will be preferred).
