Regional Sales Manager - Construction Equipment (10-16 yrs)
1. Job Purpose
- Overview:
The Regional Sales Manager (South) will oversee and drive the sales operations in the states of Andhra, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala & Lakshadweep, ensuring that sales targets are met and market presence of the company's products (boom pumps, line pumps, batching plants) is expanded. The role requires managing seasoned Area Sales Managers and working closely with other departments to ensure smooth coordination and execution of the company's sales strategies.

- Develop and implement sales strategies for the region to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives in line with the company's overall goals.

- Analyse market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead a team of seasoned Area Sales Managers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support.
- Foster a dynamic and results-driven culture, ensuring alignment with company values and goals.
- Facilitate collaboration and open communication between the Area Managers and the broader sales team to maximize regional performance.
- Sales Performance & Monitoring:
- Monitor sales team performance, set KPIs, and take necessary corrective measures to ensure targets are met.
- Track progress and report on sales metrics, trends, and forecasts to the Head of Sales.
- Conduct regular reviews with Area Sales Managers to assess performance and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Manage and grow relationships with key corporate accounts and strategic partners.
- Lead negotiations for high-value contracts and ensure the satisfaction of key clients.
- Handle escalations from Area Managers as needed, providing solutions for complex customer challenges.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align sales strategies with product offerings and market demands.
