Job Overview :

A Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for overseeing sales operations within a specific geographic region. This role involves managing a team of sales representatives, setting sales targets, developing sales plans, and working to achieve revenue goals for the region. The RSM plays a crucial role in driving the company's sales strategy and ensuring the success of the sales team.

Key Responsibilities :

- Sales Strategy and Planning : Develop and implement regional sales plans and quotas in alignment with business objectives.

- Analyze regional market trends and identify new opportunities for growth.

- Participate in decisions for expansion or acquisition.

- Team Management : Lead, motivate, and support a team of sales representatives.

- Identify hiring needs, select, and train new salespeople.

- Evaluate store and individual performances and provide feedback.

- Sales Operations : Support Store Managers with day-to-day store operations.

- Report on regional sales results and forecast quarterly and annual profits.

- Prepare and review the annual budget for the area of responsibility.

- Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

- Address potential problems and suggest prompt solutions.

- Suggest new services/products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction.

Requirements and Skills :

- Proven work experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager, or similar senior sales role.

- Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.

- Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

- Availability to travel as needed.

- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in the specific industry or market of the company.

- Advanced knowledge of sales techniques and strategies.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
