Regional Sales Manager - Construction (5-10 yrs)
Sales Plan :
- To create an annual sales plan, product-wise, customer segment-wise, territory-wise.
- Review Plans every quarter
- Sales targets for every quarter, and its review
Tour Planning :
- Submit monthly tour plan, ex-HQ, and HQ in advance
- Get approval from reporting manager for any deviations to approved tour plans
Sales Execution :
- Execute the sales process by responding to client enquires in a proactive and timely manner
- Inform sales HO of any new requests/market information received
- Complete all formalities related to customer compliances
Sales Process Management:
- Ensure end to end Sales Assistance through co-ordination with various internal teams- HO Production/operations, logistics, sales coordination as per the process
- Send invoice to the customer for advance payment and ensure same is received
- Ensure despatch report is sent to customer and customer is kept updated wrt movement of cargo in a timely manner by the sales/ logistics team
- Take complete responsibility to ensure through close coordination with logistics that cargo reaches customer destination
- Undertake customer accounts reconciliation to ensure no backlog or long outstanding payments
Troubleshooting :
- Resolve customer issues on supply, installation, post-sales issues including service issues
- Intervene to resolve issues related to delays in transport by pushing the logistics/operations teams
- Intervene and resolve and invoicing issues in a timely manner.
Customer Relations
- Meet/speak with customers at regular intervals to maintain and develop key relationships
- Educate customers on an ongoing basis regarding new products/features
- Generate/develop new customer and new products to expand the market
- Take complete ownership for keeping the customer updated on all aspects of the transaction, troubleshooting when required
Market Intelligence :
- Proactively collect market information about company's products; feedback from the market
- Competition; benchmarking; product landscape, new products/new geographies
- Stay updated on market trends
MIS/Report Sharing :
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly MIS sent to HO as per agreed timelines
Employee Learning and Growth
Ensure selling skills and trade knowledge is updated to self through training, skill development initiatives
