Regional Sales Manager - Auto/Vehicle (6-12 yrs)
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing the sales operations within the assigned region.
- This role involves leading a sales team, developing and executing sales strategies, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets in the two-wheeler industry.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales Strategy Development :
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve regional sales targets and revenue growth.
- Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to expand the customer base and increase market share.
Team Leadership :
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the regional sales team to achieve individual and collective sales goals.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and training to team members.

Market Analysis:
- Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and tactics.
- Monitor and evaluate regional sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet targets.
Client Relationship Management :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, dealers, and distributors.
- Address and resolve client issues and inquiries to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Sales Execution :
- Oversee the execution of sales plans and promotional activities within the region.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales activities, including forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance metrics.
Collaboration :
- Work closely with marketing, product management, and operations teams to align sales initiatives with company objectives.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective execution of sales programs and campaigns.
Budget Management:
- Manage the regional sales budget, including expenses related to sales activities, promotions, and travel.
- Ensure cost-effective use of resources to maximize return on investment.
Reporting and Analysis :
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and strategic initiatives to senior management.
- Analyze sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Compliance :
- Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements in all sales activities.
- Maintain high standards of ethical conduct and professionalism in dealings with clients and partners.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven track record in sales management within the two-wheeler industry or a similar sector.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive performance and achieve results.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and data to make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel within the region as required.
