Regional Sales Manager - Apparel (5-10 yrs)
Job Description :
Sales Strategy : Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share for the apparel brand. Create actionable plans based on market analysis and sales data.
Market Expansion : Identify and explore new business opportunities and potential markets within the region. Expand the brand's presence through new customer acquisition and strategic partnerships.
Team Management : Lead, mentor, and manage the regional sales team. Set performance goals, provide training and development, and ensure effective execution of sales strategies.
Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, retailers, and distributors. Address client needs and resolve issues to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting : Prepare and analyze sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports. Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to meet targets.
Product Knowledge : Maintain a deep understanding of the brand's products, market trends, and competitive landscape. Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer and market insights.
Promotion and Marketing : Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute regional promotional campaigns and events. Ensure alignment with overall brand positioning and marketing strategies.
Operational Efficiency : Oversee the day-to-day sales operations within the region, ensuring efficient processes and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Market Intelligence : Gather and analyze market intelligence to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Use this information to drive strategic decisions and adjustments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management within the apparel industry or a similar consumer goods sector.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing a successful sales team.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed business decisions.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
