Regional Sales Manager (8-15 yrs)
Industries we are looking at - Flooring/Corporate interiors/office furniture/lighting/false ceiling with very good connections with architects/PMCs/ Interior designers.
Position : Regional Sales Manager- West India
Dual reporting : Dual reporting to the Country Manager of the global organization and Director of the principal channel partner.
Location : Mumbai
- Our client is a leading global player in high-quality commercial & complete flooring solutions organization, operating in India through their authorized distributor - a very well known brand and professionally run organization; and is the channel partner to a host of other well known global brands.
- We are seeking a qualified Regional Sales Manager who will represent the global organization through the authorized distributor to help keep the revenue engine running through their own skills and leadership qualities.
Responsibilities :
- Top line growth
- Bottom line growth
- Achieving short, mid and long term organization's goals
- Identify, select and conduct business and market opportunities (including segments and distribution channels).
- Improvement of the product mix according to the management strategy Execution of prices, discounts and commission targets
- The ideal RSM has in-depth knowledge of and experience with the sales process, excelling at lead generation, specification, relationship building, and closing deals.
- Expense budget management (travel, promotion, sampling) Implementation of payment terms (contribute to improve the Working Capital)
- Identify emerging markets and market trends while being fully aware of competition activities
- Reporting (routine and ad-hoc) discipline to be strictly maintained
Attributes :
- Strong in specifications of premium products through Architects, Designers, PMCs and Contractors
- Adept in techno-commercial solution selling
- A quick learner with strong negotiation skills, and someone with a track record of success who can inspire the same in others.
- The role demands a leader with a sharp mind and the ability to coach, advise, motivate, our channel partners to create and maintain a high-performance sales territory.
- Strong negotiation skills
- A good track record of hunting and farming key accounts - acquiring and nurturing accounts and grow their revenues through up-selling and cross-selling
- A flair for networking- cross functional and external
- A strong business acumen, sense of ownership and an entrepreneurial orientation as this role will be individual contributor
- Well articulated, well presented and strong communication skills (verbal, written and social)
- A knack of converting VoC (voice of customers) to tangible offerings
- Ability to work and excel in a competitive environment
- Open to travel at least 30% of time
- Adherence to organization policies and processes
- Strong work ethic and discipline
