Regional Rural Sales Manager - FMCG (8-20 yrs)
The role purpose is to manage rural business in the region through activities like acquisition of Sub Distributors, Reach, Expansion and Servicing. The position acts as the single point of accountability for all activities and sales related to Rural business.
- Ensure profitable revenue growth in the designated territory through effective implementation of Company sale strategy through Sub Distributors
- To develop a team of competent Rural Sales Managers reporting to him.
Job Profile :
- Develop & Effectively implement the Regional Sales Strategy
- Ensure Rural Distributors achieve their business goals profitably
- Achieve Targets for Revenue, Reach and Profitability
- Effective Rural Channel Management
- Train & Coach Rural Sales Team to drive Company Initiatives & Sales processes.
- Tracking competitors' activities
- Prevention of trade mark violations at the point of sale
- Act in a manner consistent with the company's Values & Behaviours by leading through values, building enduring capability and maximizing value by strictly adhering to safe, Ethical & complaint behaviour for all activities in the market including company processes for - Distributor Claim Management.
Experience & Expertise :
Education : BE/ BTech is preferred, although other graduates with MBA from a reputed Institute are welcome
Essential Experience and Expertise : Experience of minimum 8-12 years in channel sales, with a minimum 4 to 5 years as Sales Manager, preferably managing a team of executives. Prior experience of managing distributors is essential, with experience in :
- Third Party Management
- Rural Distributor Management and Bazaar Trade
Job involves around 15 days of travel outside base location.
