Regional Retail Trainer - Jewellery (8-10 yrs)
Position: Regional Retail Trainer - Jewellery
Job Location: Bangalore
Reporting to :REGIONAL BUSINESS MANAGER
1. Scope of the role
- Executing retail training programs for the Jewel division.
- Coaching of retail staff at key locations to improve store operations and customer experience.
- Managing training needs of rapidly growing network and people.
2. Job Profile
- To conduct training programs on customer service, retail operations and product knowledge, Customer & Business orientation across the region as per specified calendar.
- Develop a rolling monthly calendar and implement the same, mostly through mix of internal & external trainers and on-line methods.
- Work within given cost budgets to achieve the targeted training coverage and impact
- To audit and monitor training quality through monitoring and reporting key impact metrics
- To be a coach for the stores in key markets to ensure customer service excellence on defined metrics.
- Handholding new stores - exclusive training and support in setting up the store operations.
- To work closely with store managers, ABMs and RBM and identify the training needs of the region and individual stores.
3. Key Deliverables
- On time release of rolling monthly training calendar based on the training need identified.
- Roll out of training programs as per training calendar
- Reporting and analysis of training scores and coverage
- Improvement in customer service excellence through personal coaching
- Compliance scores of stores for training in the region
4. The right person
- Graduate with 8-10 years work experience and at least 3 years in retail environment.
- Passion for training - meeting and coaching people
- Good communication skills - to be a trainer as well as to convince people
- High people orientation - can get along with most people and get their respect
- Process Orientation - to handle all the reporting and tracking
- Sound understanding of store processes and products.
- Willingness to travel, (around 15 days a month) to visit stores and conduct training programs.
