Regional Manager - Solar Sales (6-12 yrs)
The Regional Sales Manager is a key position with Revenue Responsibilities and critical to the success of the Organization.The broad expectation from the position is to meet Sales Planning and achievement goals,Territory Management, Building Relationships, Negotiation, Results Driven and revenue generation.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for the Region in support of national objectives.
2) Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
3) Maintain and expand customer base by building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities.
4) Identify and Appoint dealers and distributors
5) Design cross selling campaigns and programs
6) Evaluate appropriate new sales techniques and ensure its implementation in order to increase sales volume of the region
7) Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product,packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.
8) Implements trade promotions by publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending.
9) Maintain strict commercial and credit control for effective sales.
QUALIFICATIONS
For a candidate to be considered for the position of Regional Sales Manager, there are certain skills, competencies, and qualities he/she must possess, these include
1. A graduation in any discipline plus an MBA in Sales & Marketing.
2. Six plus years of experience in Sales of Solar Products or products targetted for the rural/ semi urban markets like pumps
3. Proven experience in cross-selling, and competence in various sales activities
4. Experience in establishing and controlling an indirect sales channel like Dealers and Distributors.
5. Proven Experience in managing trade commercials and Credit Control.
