Regional Manager - Sales - Lighting (12-20 yrs)
Job Profile
- Add new Architects/Builders/Key Accounts/Contractors to the existing business.
- Finding potential area & adding value to the same, ensuring the complete region is covered.
- Focus on Primary, Secondary & territory sales all around the state.
- Visiting each state in regular intervals, meeting the high end clients, sales team & state head.
- Collecting weekly sales & marketing reports from State heads.
- Adding new Dealers & Distributors to each territory.
- Determines annual and gross-profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions.
- Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product.
- Providing guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
- Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
- Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts.
- Keep and maintain a budget for the region.
- Creating regional sales plans and quotas in alignment with business objectives.
- Making Reports on regional sales results.
- Identify hiring needs, select and train new salespeople.
- Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth.
- Participate in decisions for expansion or acquisition.
- Suggest new services/products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction.
- Implements trade promotions by publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending.
- Forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly sales goals.
- Developing specific plans to ensure growth both long and short-term.
- Educating sales team with presentations of strategies, seminars and regular meetings.
- Reviewing regional expenses and recommending improvements.
- Create awareness of products, conduct training and seminars for clients and sales team.
- Directs the selling activities within the Region, inclusive of resource deployment and customer interactions.
