Job Description
Your tasks will include, but not limited to, the following :
- Traveling throughout an assigned region to train and guide company Sales and Service representatives.
- Maintaining solid working relationships with customers by ensuring that their needs are met and resolving issues/complaints in a timely manner.
- Analyzing sales and marketing data to determine the most effective sales and marketing techniques.
- Continually meeting or exceeding sales targets by developing innovative sales strategies within the assigned region.
- Identifying and resolving customer concerns; recommending a course of action to alleviate these concerns in the future.
- Expanding market awareness of our products and our industry experience by communicating features and benefits of our products and services effectively.
- Working closely with the customer service team to ensure customer product requirements are met.
- Attending and participating in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events to promote company products and services.
- Maintaining knowledge of competitor products and identifying and reporting intelligence on competitor pricing or marketing strategies.
- Liaising with existing customers on a regular basis to proactively take feedback and ensuring customers realize full value of their investment.
- Educating customers on product best practices and driving technology adoption.
- Motivating Sales and Service representatives to achieve monthly/quarterly targets and evaluating their performance from time to time.
- Must represent the company's Vision, Values & maintain good brand image in the market and in front of the customers.
Skills & Experience :
- Technical / Engineering background with a passion for technology and Agriculture/Aquaculture preferred.
- Bachelor's / Master's degree with 5-8 years of proven experience in agri-business or aquaculture marketing & sales.
- Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Sound negotiation and consultative sales skills.
- Be continuously learning to get a thorough understanding of the assigned aquaculture market.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic work environment.
- Work requires extensive travel to current and potential customer locations, requires the possession of a valid driver's license.
