Regional Manager/General Manager - Sales - IT (12-18 yrs)

Qualification - MBA and/ or engineer with specialization in marketing from an institute of repute.

Mandatory Skill Set:

12-15 years of experience of selling S/W products / IT enabled solutions with at least 6-8 years of software solutions sales experience in government vertical.

Summary / Nature of Work:

- We are recruiting for a top-notch sales resource having proven track record of selling solutions to Government, Defence and Public Sector undertakings in India. Location is flexible and can be in either in Pune, Bangalore or Delhi (NCR). This is a key sales role, responsible for business development with key customer and developing new opportunities for services and solutions of Persistent Systems. This person must be entrepreneurial, energetic, self-starter with demonstrated ability to sell to Government with in-depth knowledge of RFP management, Bid Management, Partner alignment and client relationship management. The person should also have understanding the process of DPR preparations and solutions selling and aware of e-governance and e-transformation practices in Government

- Person will be responsible for acquiring new customers and nurturing the relationships into long term strategic business. Person should be comfortable discussing technology, professional services and have a proven history of achieving sales quota.

Job Skill:

- Strong track record of selling high ticket value based software solutions.

- Understands buying process cycle in government (State, Central Ministries & PSU) and should be well known with the dynamics of Government sector. Manages relationship with system integrators to ensure horizontal penetration into accounts

- Proven track record of consistent high performance and new business acquisition

- Ability to forecast future sales trends and devise future sales strategies for the same.

- Strong account management and business acumen

- Experience of working with SIs / Partners on large and complex deals.

- Strategic planning, market plan execution with skills in competitor and market analysis

- Developing relationships at CXO all levels of customer in a government organization.
