Regional Manager - Channel Sales - Chemical/Cement/Paint/Waterproofing (8-13 yrs)
Job Description :
- Overseeing the sales & marketing operations, & achieving increased sales growth across region.
- Managing distribution network/ supply chain for distributing goods for achievement of targets within specified parameters.
- End to end ownership of region (Retail sales,channel development, Market development, demand generation)
- Setting sales objective targets (volume/value, product and territory wise)
- Conducting competitor analysis by keeping abreast of market trends & achieving market share.
- Leading, mentoring, training & monitoring the performance of team members to ensure efficiency in sales and meeting of individual & group targets.
- Creating and sustaining a dynamic environment that fosters development opportunities and motivates high performance among team members.
- Supervise and ensure training (product, systems and sales training) of all field employees in the region.
- Developing new business partners to expand product reach in the market and working in close interaction with the dealers and distributors to assist them to promote the product.
- Developing periodic business plans & strategies, in coordination with macro plans of organization.
- To promote entire range of products such as waterproofing solutions, construction chemical, external wall paints to the target retail customers in the territory.
- Planning & scheduling individual/ team assignments to achieve the pre set goals within time, quality & cost parameters.
- Formulating /short term strategic plans to enhance operations.
- Tracking market/ competitor trends to keep abreast with the changing clients requirement/ expectations.
- Chalking out budget plans to achieve the desired targets.
Desired Candidate Profile :
- Any Graduate, MBA preferred.
- Should have an experience in Retail sales, Channel development, Distribution Management in Construction Chemical, Waterproofing solutions, Cement, Lighting or Paints industry etc.
- Ability to drive team sales / targets.
- Good in collaboration and team work.
- Good communication, self-motivated and good negotiation skill.
- Excellent inter personal skills to engage effectively with external and internal team members.
- Visiting customer to ensure good customer service.
- Designing of Promotional activities/schemes.
