Regional Head - Sales - FMCG (5-10 yrs)
Job Description :
1) Responsibilities and Duties
Manage and achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company's product and/or related services.
Establish contacts and pitch the company services with Franchisees, Distributors and Customers.
The Ideal candidates must have a track record of achieving targets in sales.
One who is capable of making presentation to top management and decision makers about company's products and services.
A sales profession with in-depth knowledge of the industry and experience in selling products / services and experience in handling a team are preferred.
Core Function
Sales / Business development :
- Promote/sell/secure contracts from new customers through direct sales.Demonstrates services to customers, prepare quotation and negotiate with potential customers
- Manage the sales administration function, operational performance reporting,streamlining processes and systems - wherever possible.
- Establish new vendor / supplier partnership for the services of the company.Gain Distribution rights for sports product manufactures / regional distributor
- Develop and execute the annual sales target.
- Set an aggressive growth path for the company and achieve it
- Coordinating with and motivating sales team across locations
- Managing the team performance and support in achieving their targets
- OJT for individual team members
- Managing key customer & distributor relationships
- Driving strategy for new business avenues, markets and client base
- As Head of the S&M function and being part of core management. help strategies and make market led decisions
- Provide market feedback for constant improvement
- Responsible for logistics and overall customer satisfaction
- Excellent commercial sense
- Good experience in retail sales and exports also would be an added advantage
- Strong understanding of local markets
- Strong in planning strategies, and execution
- Excellent team and people management skills
- Expertise in handling client interface
- Maturity in conflict resolution, excellent communication skills
- Strong negotiator
- Extremely tech savvy and must be able to apply technology to ease processes
- System oriented, ability to create strong reporting and MIS systems
- Great energy and presentable
Required work experience : FMCG / Foods / Beverage
Must be good with Microsoft excel, words & presentation.
Good English writing skills
