Regional Head - Corporate Sales (8-12 yrs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership : Lead and inspire the regional sales team to achieve and exceed aggressive sales targets. Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Market Growth : Develop and implement strategies to grow market share within the region. Identify new business opportunities and drive initiatives to expand the customer base.
- Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners, including Third Party Administrators (TPAs), brokers, and insurance companies. Leverage these partnerships to maximize sales opportunities.
- Direct Sales Team Development : Expand a dedicated direct sales team to strengthen our market presence and acquire new clients independently, without reliance on channel partners. Prioritize the recruitment of top talent and implement robust training programs to equip the team with effective sales strategies and in-depth product knowledge.
- Strategic Planning : Collaborate with senior management to set regional sales goals and develop tactical plans to achieve them. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.
- SPANCO (Suspect, Prospect, Approach, Negotiation, Closure, Order) Management : Manage the sales pipeline effectively by guiding the team to engage in proactive prospecting, ensuring a steady flow of opportunities that lead to successful closures. Additionally, focus on driving sales while maintaining healthy profit margins to support overall business growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with account management, marketing, product, legal, network and operations teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Cross-Regional Collaboration : Foster strong partnerships with other regional teams to share best practices, and create a unified sales strategy. Encourage open communication to align goals and drive collective success across the organization.
- Reporting and Analysis : Analyze sales performance metrics and prepare detailed reports to assess progress against targets. Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.
