Reed Business Information - Key Account Manager (3-7 yrs)
This position is responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships with key clients from the Chemical, Oil and Energy sectors.
Responsibilities :
- Securing new subscriptions through consultation with existing and new clients
- Creating new business through the identification and implementation of cross-selling and new product initiatives
- Maintenance of customer relationships and customer support
- Planning and execution of in person customer visits within the assigned territory, including customer presentations
- Create business proposals and effectively manage sales cycle and provide pipelines on a weekly basis when conducting a sales plan
Skills and Behaviors:
- Successful track record in high value, solution sales
- Experienced in consultative selling and key account management
- Excellent skills in presentation
- Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- People orientated, excellent listening skills
- Able to build relationships both external and internal
- Experienced at working with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce.com)
- Commercial acumen
- Demonstrable understanding of sales proposition
- Highly motivated
Qualifications :
- Bachelor degree or above
- Demonstrable experience in a similar consultative sales position
- Proficient in written and spoken English
