RedeFin Capital- Manager - Business Development (2-3 yrs)
Role Overview :
- As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our firm by identifying, attracting, and onboarding new business opportunities. You will be responsible for creating and executing strategic plans to expand our client portfolio, foster strong relationships, and drive revenue generation. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of the investment banking landscape, have a proven track record of business development success, and possess exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities :
New Business Identification : Identify potential clients and opportunities for new business growth by conducting market research, networking, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
Lead Generation and Qualification : Proactively pursue potential leads, establish contact, and qualify them based on their financial needs and alignment with the company's services.
Client Relationship Management : Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their financial objectives, and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
Proposal Development : Prepare persuasive and compelling proposals and presentations, showcasing the company's services and value proposition to prospective clients.
Negotiation and Closing : Conduct negotiations with clients to finalize deal structures, pricing, and terms, with the aim of successfully closing new business opportunities.
Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the company, including investment bankers, analysts, legal, and compliance, to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
Market Intelligence : Monitor industry trends, market changes, and competitor activities, providing valuable insights to the management team for strategic decision-making.
Targets and Reporting : Set ambitious business development targets and track progress regularly, reporting to senior management on achievements, challenges, and potential areas of improvement.
Requirement :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related fields. An advanced degree or relevant certifications will be a plus.
- Proven track record of at least 2 years in business development or sales within the investment banking or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of investment banking products, services, and market dynamics.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining client relationships, with a strong network of industry contacts.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other business development tools to manage leads, track progress, and analyze data.
