RayForge Solar Integration - Manager - Sales (5-8 yrs)
Position Title: Sales Manager
Location: Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh (with regional travel)
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy :
- Develop and implement a focused sales strategy targeting industries, commercial entities, and developers operating within Vijayawada & Sri City and surrounding regions.
- Leverage local market knowledge to identify potential clients, manufacturing hubs, and warehousing facilities.
Lead Generation and Business Development:
- Build a network within Vijayawada & Sri City's business ecosystem, including local industries and government stakeholders.
- Identify clients with potential for on-site solar installations, PPA models, or hybrid solutions.
- Collaborate with Sri City officials and business associations to access leads and market insights.
Client Engagement and Relationship Building:
- Establish long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within Sri City industries.
- Conduct presentations, site visits, and meetings to position the company as a preferred solar EPC partner.
Proposal Development and Negotiation:
- Work closely with design, technical, and finance teams to prepare customized proposals addressing client energy needs.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company profitability goals.
Market Intelligence and Analysis:
- Monitor developments within Sri City, including new industrial setups, policy updates, and renewable energy trends.
- Provide insights on competitor activity and client demands in the region.
Collaboration and Execution Support:
- Coordinate with project and execution teams to ensure feasibility and on-time delivery of sold projects.
- Provide clients with regular updates during the project lifecycle to maintain trust and satisfaction.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, prospects, and closed deals specific to Sri City.
- Present periodic reports to the leadership team on sales progress, challenges, and opportunities in the region.
Qualifications and Skills
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA in Sales/Marketing (preferred).
Experience:
- 5-8 years of sales experience, with at least 2-3 years focused on industrial or renewable energy sectors.
- Prior experience in sales within Sri City or similar industrial hubs is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
- Understanding of solar EPC processes, including on-site solar installations, PPAs, and energy cost savings models.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Soft Skills:
- Strong networking and interpersonal skills, especially within industrial and commercial segments.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and meet tight deadlines.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel extensively within Sri City and nearby regions.
- Fluency in English and Telugu (preferred).
