RateGain - Specialist - Inside Sales (2-5 yrs)
Specialist- Inside Sales
Responsibilities :
- Work in tandem with the sales team to identify and reach out to potential OTA's / Airlines to be added at the top of the funnel.
- Engage with user groups within the OTA's and Airlines to understand requirements and conduct demos
- Assist with execution/preparation of trade shows and sales calls, outbound cold calls and emails.
- Perform analysis of marketing and sales data, collect quantitative and qualitative data.
- Seek and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials - both on and offline
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest ensuring optimal coverage of all territories at all times.
- Perform market analysis and research on prospecting new clients.
- Enter contact information into contact management systems.
Database entry : maintain, improve and expand database of prospects. Establish, maintain and update files and records.
- Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM - Salesforce).
- Efficiently and effectively handle a high volume of outbound calls.
- Understand customer needs and requirements.
- Other duties as assigned
Competencies :
- 2-4 Years of experience in Airlines / Hospitality/OTA/B2B space
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Superior inter-personal, presentation and consultative selling skills.
- Extensive knowledge of Web and social media.
- PowerPoint, Word and Excel experience is a bonus.
- Hotel, hospitality, travel industry experience preferred.
- Ability to analyze data to improve sales effectiveness.
- Ability to occasionally travel and attend sales events or exhibits.
- Work in a dynamic environment in one of the fastest-growing industries
