QikPod - Regional Manager - Business Development/Sales (5-7 yrs)

Responsibilities :


- Independently lead city/region with regard to all company matters : business development/sales, operations, HR, legal, administrative, and reporting to and coordinating with Bangalore headquarters (HQ).

- Primarily scout out and build a pipeline of prospects at big office parks, companies and apartment complexes to deploy QikPod lockers

- Independently visit prospective large sites like office/tech parks and present QikPod solution

- Constantly lead and monitor a team of Business Development Executives (BDEs) to ensure alignment and coordinating.

- Dedicated and systematic follow-ups of prospects (both individual and those of BDEs) and nurture this pipeline of prospects towards positive closure and accepting the QikPod solution.

- Prepares reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing information, and reports back to HQ

- With the support of HQ staff recruit, retain and motivate a regional team of BDEs, Operations Supervisors, and Field Engineers.

- Has overall responsibility for physical deployment, maintenance and up-time of regional locker network by managing Operations Supervisor and Field Engineers.

- Has to trouble-shoot and solve customer issues and complaints by personally visiting sites as required.

Desired Skills :

- 5+ years minimum experience in leading a team and zone/area in primarily Business Development/Sales, but for those who have also handled operations teams

- Proficient in using search engines and business databases etc; to identify contacts and leads.

- Should have good presentation skills.

- Excellent spoken & written English communication skills and proficiency in regional languages.

- Flexible team player who is well organized and very professional.

- High energy and enthusiasm. Willing to work 6 days/week, long hours and weekends (a compensatory off will be given during weekdays as necessary)

- Willingness to travel extensively in and around the city; locally visiting sites & clients using his own vehicle with legal driver's license (travel expense will be reimbursed).

- Willingness to be compensated on a combination of a base fixed salary and a variable performance based bonus.

- Willingness to comply with real-time location and route tracking via GPS by installing & turning on a location tracking app on their 3G smart phone.

- Has a dual SIM smart phone with 3G facility (mobile allowance will be provided for local calls/SMS)
