QAD - Channel Sales Representative (7-10 yrs)
This is direct sales position, responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying, selling and closing new business to existing and net new customers.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for activity and opportunity forecasting to sales management on a weekly basis and maintaining an accurate opportunity pipeline in Salesforce.com. Must have the ability to qualify opportunities. Responsible for meeting revenue quota targets on an annual basis.
- Duties include inbound and/or outbound telesales activity to qualify and generate leads and close sales deals. Works without supervision on highly complex projects. Extensive latitude for independent judgment. Extensive knowledge of the field. Extensive use of Salesforce for logging activities and customer communication. Standard sales administration work : Account Plans, Meeting agendas, Meeting minutes, discount approval forms etc.
- Responsible for NET NEW campaigns working under close supervision with Sales Management, Regional Marketing and Vertical Marketing Leadership.
- Responsible for NEW Channel Development working in collaboration with Regional Channel Sales Manager
- Responsible for contract documentation, discount approvals, legal approval of Proposals, Contracts, NDA etc.
- Strong C-level/ board level communication and presentation skills, Interaction with senior executives across multiple industries
Education/Licenses: Master of Business Administration in Sales or equivalent
Experience: Typically requires seven to ten years of experience in sales/customer service, preferably in ERP
