- PV Diagnostics is a leading solar power plant diagnostics, performance improvement and quality control solutions provider in India. In simple terms, doctors for solar power plants and also provide solutions to maximize electricity generation from the plant.

- PV Diagnostics is a 3-year-old profitable company with marquee clients such as Tata Power, Renew Power, KKR, Brookfield, Spring Energy, etc. The core team comes from IIT Bombay and is backed by industry veterans with a cumulative experience of 50+ years in the solar industry, spread across the solar value chain. PVD has an ace solar technology team and is now also building a cloud-based platform to enable our customers with proactive diagnostics and predictive maintenance.

About the role :

- We are looking for a smart and energetic professional to lead the business development vertical and manage key client relationships with the aim to create and nurture long-term relationships with customers. In this role, you- ll work closely with the Chief Business Officer of PV Diagnostics to generate leads, convert projects and manage the client relationships afterward. Your target customers would be utility-scale Independent Power Producers, EPCs, Private Equity Companies, and Banks in India. You- ll be responsible for building a sales strategy, setting a target and budget, and implementing the strategy with support from the CBO and BD analyst.

- In this role, you should be able to maintain customized client progress reports for multiple clients and ensure the timely and accurate execution of all client deliverables. You should also be able to collaborate with CBO to ensure successful onboarding of new clients, construct and manage revenue pipeline reports, key prospects and actively invest in our client's strategies.

What you'll do :


- Maintain existing clients and generate new clients to achieve revenue goals.

- Schedule regular meetings, discussions, teleconferences and visit client offices to strengthen the relationships

- Conduct market research of new product verticals to identify key customers, revenue and growth potential and develop a Business Development strategy.

- Ensure that client requests are handled timely and accurately and develop new strategies to improve client satisfaction.

- Elevate complaints and feedback to the relevant departments and collaborate with internal teams (e.g. sales, engineers, senior management) to address customer's needs.

Basic Qualification :

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology. An MBA degree would be a bonus.

3-5 years of professional work experience preferably in B2B sales and business development in professional services in the solar industry.

- Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and windows-based applications
