PV Diagnostics - Associate - Business Development (1-3 yrs)

PV Diagnostics was started by a team of IIT Bombay alumni in Jan 2017. We are a renewable energy company, providing diagnostics and quality control services. We currently operate only in the solar energy field. Some of our unique aspects are:
- We provide end-to-end health check-up of solar power plants
- The core focus of our studies is the performance turn-around for solar assets
- We possess state of the art technology to diagnose plants including portable (hand-held) EL imaging and drone-based thermography
- We have helped multiple clients in filing for successful claims for transportation, installation or operational damages in the modules
- We also work with multiple investors and asset management companies on technical due diligence
We have completed 1100 MW+ of diagnostics and are working with leading solar power plant developers and EPCs in the country including Tata Power Renewable Energy, Kiran Energy, Avaada Power, Sterling & Wilson, Phelan Energy, Refex Energy, Jakson, Cleanmax and Fourth Partner.

Roles and Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities will include
1. Customer outreach
1.1. Identifying the top customers for PV Diagnostics in India and Internationally.
1.2. Establishing contact with the right person in those companies.
1.3. Creating a pitch for each company, that will help us sell our services to them.
1.4. Identifying the pain points for higher market penetration.
2. Competitive Analysis
2.1. Reading up about the different competitors of PV Diagnostics in different geographies.
2.2. Comparing our services with those offered by our competitors.
2.3. Identifying areas where PV Diagnostics can expand its services.
2.4. Developing a strategy for expansion of services.
3. Client Relations
3.1. Assist the head of BD and Client Delivery in managing client expectations
3.2. Assisting the head of BD in building upon existing relationships to ensure an effective strategic account mining.
4. Working with senior team members to identify and manage risks.
5. Fostering a collaborative environment within the organisation.
