Job Summary :


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team at our prestigious 4-star hotel in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales across various segments, including online sales leads, corporate relationships, and event venues. This role demands an individual who is proactive, customer-oriented, and capable of handling a diverse range of sales activities to maximize revenue.

Key Responsibilities :

Sales and Marketing :

- Generate and manage online sales leads through various platforms.

- Handle inbound sales calls and respond to inquiries promptly.

- Conduct site visits with potential clients and provide comprehensive tours of the hotel facilities.

- Prepare and present detailed and competitive quotes to prospective clients.

- Develop and execute targeted email marketing campaigns to promote hotel services.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients for hotel rooms, venues, and banquets.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and sales strategies.

Client Relationship Management :

- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key corporate clients, event planners, travel agents, and other relevant stakeholders.

- Actively seek out new business opportunities and maintain a pipeline of potential clients.

- Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction by addressing client needs and concerns promptly.

Event and Banquet Sales :

- Promote and sell hotel venues and banquet facilities for weddings, conferences, and other events.

- Work closely with the events team to coordinate and execute successful events, ensuring client expectations are met.

Reporting and Analysis :

- Track and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports to the management team.

- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

Team Collaboration:

- Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and food & beverage, to ensure seamless service delivery.

- Provide guidance and training to junior sales staff, fostering a high-performance sales culture within the team.

Regular Sales Manager Duties :

- Set and achieve sales targets in line with the hotel's business objectives.

- Prepare and manage the sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.

- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance the hotel's visibility and reputation.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sales role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a 4 or 5-star hotel.

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Strong organizational and time management abilities.

- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
