Purplle - eCommerce Sales Planner (1-3 yrs)

Online Distribution is one of the most dynamic teams in Purplle. We are growing faster than the category on Ecommerce Platforms. As an E-Commerce Sales Planner for brands, you will play a pivotal role in strategizing and executing sales plans for both B2B and B2C channels. This role demands a keen understanding of market dynamics, consumer behavior, and collaborative efforts with various internal teams to ensure the availability of the right inventory in the right location at the right time.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Monthly Planning :

- Develop monthly sales plans for both B2B and B2C channels based on the yearly Annual Operating Plan (AOP).

- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and potential challenges.

- Collaborate with demand planning teams to ensure alignment between sales forecasts and inventory availability.

2. Channel and Partner-Level Planning :

- Customize sales strategies and plans according to specific B2B and B2C channels and partners.

- Conduct regular performance reviews of partners and channels, identifying areas for improvement and growth.

- Coordinate with channel managers and partners to optimize sales strategies and promotional activities.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Work closely with the demand planning team to ensure accurate inventory forecasts and availability.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales plans with promotional campaigns and product launches.

- Provide insights and feedback to product development teams based on market demand and consumer preferences.

4. Inventory Management :

- Monitor inventory levels across different channels and locations, ensuring adequate stock to meet demand.

- Identify inventory discrepancies and work with supply chain teams to address issues promptly.

- Optimize inventory allocation to maximize sales opportunities and minimize stockouts.

5. Performance Analysis and Reporting :

- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, including sell-through rates, revenue, and profitability.

- Generate regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and identify areas for improvement.

- Present findings and recommendations to senior management, highlighting key insights and actionable insights.
