Pureplay Skin Sciences - Manager - Product Marketing (3-6 yrs)
Purpose - Why does it exist?
To drive quantified brand and category growth by crafting and delivering key marketing interventions
Key Performance Indicators :
1. Overall category offtake and QoQ growth
2. Category and channel level ROAS delivery
3. New initiative & launches contribution to business growth
Key Responsibilities :
1. Deliver tertiary targets for each channel in collaboration with channel heads measured by percentage of total brand and absolute QoQ growth
2. Identify opportunities & execute special promotional items for category growth - eg, combos, gifting, samples, GWPs and more
3. Analyze & draw insights from SKU / channel level data to define way forward on growth and promotions
4. Manage category profitability - promotional spend vis a vis sales achieved
5. Market research to gain consumer understanding and feedback internally to marketing, sales and product development teams
6. Competition benchmarking - price, product mix, bundling, other key trends, market share analysis
7. Liase with channel heads & marketing sub-function managers to execute adequate promotional activities (incl. influencer marketing, content creation, social activation, GWPs & more)
8. Manage innovation marketing - define pipeline & grow portfolio along with product team in line with category ambitions & effectively conceptualize & manage cross-channel product launches
Experience & Qualification :
Mandatory:
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in core marketing functions
- Masters/MBA in marketing with a good academic record
Preferred :
- Experience in the beauty/lifestyle category
- Prior experience in crafting brand strategy
- Prior experience with digital-first brands
- Proven data orientation
