Public Relations Officer - eCommerce (8-14 yrs)
What are we looking for:
A self-motivated, talented and a sharp professional to support the manager in the communications team. Should have a prior experience of handling things independently. The person will assist in driving communication for key categories and marketplace side of the business. Other than delivering on hygiene PR work, the person will be expected to conceptualize interesting campaigns that will have the measurable business impact.
What you will be doing
- Conceptualise PR campaigns independently with tangible outcome
- Work closely with the leadership team across categories at the outset. Also, independently lead communication from the start of any project/campaign/launch
- Steer media stories in favor of the brand and cultivate a deep knowledge of the company and industry to seize on opportunities
- Manage crisis/issues communication by proactively liaising with internal and external stakeholders to minimise the fallout from a crisis.
What should you have:
- Minimum experience of 8 years into Public Relations under good PR Agency.
- Exceptional communication skills including the ability to write clearly
- Interpersonal skills that include well-honed networking abilities within and outside the company
- Ability to influence stakeholders at leadership levels
- Ability to learn/unlearn with changing circumstances
- Bias for action
- Understanding of media and digital space is a must
- Good e-commerce/domain knowledge
