Propelor - Manager - Sales - Freight Forwarding Vertical (5-15 yrs)
Job Summary :
- Responsible for generating revenue and gross profit while considering volumes and customer transactions consistently for the company
- Maintain good relationship with the shipping lines & agents at a Regional Level.
- Work towards achieving productivity as per company policy and innovative ideas.
- Ensure high standards of regulatory compliance in operations.
- Work with, guide, and monitor the field sales team in the branch to grow existing business and achieve new business targets.
- Responsible for customer review meetings along with the sales/account manager
- Cultivated long-term relationships through a focused effort on customer's unique needs and finding best solutions.
- Take responsibility for service delivery and problem resolution in an independent manner.
- Responsible for new market launch and identify prospective customer base.
- Streamline costs through proactive examination and improvement of operations.
Required Skills :
- Excellent oral and written communication and good listening skills
- Proven experience in opportunity identification & qualification, email drafts creation, pre-call planning & call control
- Strong problem identification and objections resolution skills
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team with high-level of integrity and work ethics
Experience & Education :
- More than 5 years of experience in shipping/ freight forwarding sales
- Sound knowledge of the basics of Ocean Freight processes (Import & Export), terms, required documentation, and physical operational knowledge.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
